Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1/2 cup granola preferably cluster-style, low sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds optional

Equipment

  • 2 (8-ounce) jars or glasses
  • small bowl
  • spoon

Method

  1. In a small bowl, stir together Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  2. Wash and dry berries thoroughly. Slice strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Take two 8-ounce jars or glasses. Spoon 1/4 cup of the yogurt mixture into the bottom of each jar.
  4. Add a layer of berries (about 1/4 cup per jar) directly on top of the yogurt.
  5. Add another 1/4 cup of yogurt over the berries, spreading gently.
  6. Top with 1/4 cup granola per jar, pressing lightly into the yogurt so it stays put.
  7. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top if using. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours for a crunch that still holds.

Notes

For make-ahead: layer yogurt and berries only. Store granola separately and add just before serving. Keeps in the fridge for up to 2 days without granola. Common allergens: dairy (yogurt), nuts (almonds, granola may contain nuts). Use dairy-free yogurt and nut-free granola as needed. For dietary advice, consult a qualified professional.
