Method
- Brew your coffee or espresso and chill it completely. Hot coffee will melt the ice and make a watery drink.
- In a small bowl, warm 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce for about 10 seconds in the microwave until runny. Set aside for the drizzle.
- In a blender, combine ice cubes, chilled coffee, milk, 3 tablespoons caramel sauce, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy. The mixture should be thick but pourable — if it's too thin, add 2-3 more ice cubes and blend again.
- Drizzle the warmed caramel sauce around the inside of your serving glass. Pour the frappuccino into the glass.
- Top with whipped cream and a final drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.
Notes
Storage: This frappuccino is best enjoyed immediately. It does not store well because the ice melts and separates. For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or full-fat coconut milk — avoid almond milk as it can become watery when blended. To reduce sugar, use sugar-free caramel sauce and omit the granulated sugar. Common allergens: milk (dairy). For personal dietary needs, consult a qualified professional.
